HARVESTER & CONVEYOR SYSTEM

Don’t miss your opportunity to secure a high caliber olive/almond/cherry/walnut harvesting system, built in 2002 by Pellenc with a maxi buggy 1200 is a very impressive setup that is capable of harvesting up to 1200 trees per day.

The buggy has only 1800 hours on the original Perkins 3.9 litre turbo diesel putting out 83 kW, massive amounts of power in the versatile shaker head with an extendable boom and wide grip opening, the head also rotates allowing you to harvest awkward angled branches without having to move the shaker.

Coupled with the Pellenc Dual conveyor it makes harvesting a breeze, line the middle of the conveyor up with the tree trunk, tractor operator then rolls out the hydraulic tarps either side of the tree, the tarps measure 8m wide and 10m long, so a large catch area for even the biggest trees, shaker operator drives in and shakes the trees, then the hydraulic tarps are rolled in and the olives fall into the 2 rows of brand new conveyors (which were fitted this year) the fruit then travels along and passes through a powerful leaf blower before dropping into the hydraulic fruit bin attached to the rear.

Once full simply lower the forks and place the next bin ready for collection, all controlled from the control box in the tractor cab.

Very hard to find a system that will transform your harvest time resulting in a much higher quality oil.

About amandabailey

1997 the year I stepped into the Olive World in Australia. Since then I have had the privilege of working with many specialist researchers from all facets within the Industry from Australia and overseas. I am passionate about olives & our industry. I dedicate my work to enhance the production of groves (in all aspects of olives) through to commercial production. As founder of The Olive Centre, I wanted to be able to take out much of the guess work that growers in the earlier days faced in the trialling of equipment for the application of their use in Olives. This is the area I specialise in today in the Equipment, Machinery & Advice and provide a One-Stop-Shop to all Olive Growers. I have maintained a working relationship with well over 200 suppliers in order to bring the most up-to-date and cost effective equipment available today. All our equipment & machinery has been trialled in the commercial application of olives and through this our team at The Olive Centre hopes to ... help you achieve the maximum from your grove. Only through working together can we achieve a viable industry.
